Wildlife/Habitat Relationships

There is no doubt that human modification of native habitats has altered wildlife communities. Therefore, the wildlife research program at the Joseph W. Jones Ecological Research Center considers wildlife habitat relationships to be a central focus of our research program. We utilize both observational and experimental studies to evaluate habitat preferences of select wildlife species and to determine potential effects of various habitat management options.
